WoW ! Never has a set of strings impressed me the way these do.
I've been playing a long time, since 1962, and I play every day. Never has a set of strings impressed me the way these do.
I have used many different brands of strings over the years and for as long as I can remember I've used pure nickel round wounds in .010 and .011 gauges. This is the first time I've tried any Thomastik-Infeld strings. I got a set of .010 Blues Sliders and installed them on a favorite Les Paul Custom. The .010 gauge is bouncy and springy and feel great. They feel lighter and more lively than any .010 gauge string I've ever played. And the tone is wonderful. I've had them on for several weeks and played them a lot and they sound as great as when they were first installed. I never thought I'd spend $20. for a set of strings, I've always been able to get great results from strings costing much less.
But here I am back to order several sets for some of my favorite guitars : )
ProsLively and responsive feel Wonderful tone Long lasting
ConsPrice, but you get what you pay for, a superior string
