electric without losing J200 sound
March 3, 2021
Put this in my J200 back in 2004, with no hole drilling there was no impact on the sound structure of my J200. 16 years later, the guitar is seasoned and the sound is sweeter.......
Pros
- no holes to cut and risk ruining your acoustic sound....
Cons
- you need to patiently sand down the saddle to keep the action right, but it's well worth it...

Martin Thinline 332

I put one of these in my Martin LX-1. Its a little quiet, without a preamp, but added to my Fishman EQ Pro Platinum that tiny guitar sounds huge! I've had sound guys say "oh, that little guitar is going to be a challenge", but once they hear it, they're blown away. An excellent choice for easy amplification, especially if you have a pre amp, or line booster of some kind to boost the signal. Smooth, and beautiful.

The Martin thinline 332 pickup is excellent. It's an undersaddle, and doesn't require a batery. No EQ, but I prefer it without it's more natural and has the right one of an acoustic guitar. I have it in mine ALvarez Yairi-It's great!!!
