Fantastic Strings for Taylor 916EC
Purchased a new Taylor 916CE about two years ago. Played Martin guitars before that for many many years. The strings I used to use on my Martins did not have the same sound on the Taylor. After trying many brands I came across these and wow, what a difference. These strings are strong, bright (but not too bright) and stay in tune if applied correctly to the guitar. I won't use anything else on my Taylor now.

Well worth the money
Bought one set and liked it so much I bought a second set to have on hand. Lasted 4 months (i do clean them a couple times a week) on a guitar that gets 4 hours a week of play....not bad.
ProsSounds great

Revived My OM
For many years, I had been stringing my Huss and Dalton Standard OM with another brand of coated strings and, for many years, my OM suffered from intonation issues. The B string, in particular, always played a few cents sharp. It drove me nuts. A couple of months ago, I decided to experiment with some other brands and types of strings, and purchased a couple of different varieties of Martin strings, particularly the Clapton's Choice strings. I figured, if Eric Clapton likes these on his 000 guitars, I'd try them on my OM. There was nothing to lose... When the Clapton's Choice (.013-.056) strings went on, the intonation issues disappeared, and this guitar is now playing loudly and sweetly. I was shocked by the difference in tone, volume, and corrected intonation, as well as hugely pleased. From now on, I know what strings will go on this 17-year-old sitka/EI rosewood OM.
ProsGreat tone, feel, and volume. Brings out more bass on this OM, with nice fat but sparkly trebles.
ConsNothing yet.

Good bang for the money!
Only had them on for a few days now, but I must admit, I am impressed so far!!! I popped them on my Taylor 322e (small bodied, short-scale guitar) and right out of the package, they sounded amazing!! Not sure how long the honeymoon will last, they may go dead in a week, but my initial impression is a very positive one. In fact, I just ordered a couple more sets!
ProsPrice, not a lot $$$ in comparison to other brands
ConsNone yet, but I suspect longevity may be the one thing that may be a factor.

Nice String!
These Clapton's Choice strings are very nice sounding and are a great value for the money paid. The only downside is that they don't last all that long. But for the price you pay, you can change them up more frequently!

Very nice
Very nice and evenly balanced set of strings. Still testing out various strings, but the EC lights looks to end up being my string of choice.
ProsSounds very good, balanced both in tone and volume between strings. Loud and clear, still plenty of warmth.

Really nice even, balanced tone
These strings feel great and sound great. I'm using them on my Martin M36. All fingerstyle and they are easy on the calluses. The tone brings out deep bluesy tone. Definitely a great choice.
ProsBalance and deep intricate tone.
ConsNone so far.

Great balance
Easy on the fingers. Great balance from the 1st string to the 6th.
ConsThey don't last as long as the Elixir's do, but I like to tone better.

ELIXIR VS MARTIN EC PB
I'm a ELIXIR user since 2005. I tried those strings in my shop, and I'm really satisfied. The first three days they sound much better that the elixir . They don't last as long as the elixir, not even close to that. But I had elixir before and when I took them away from my guitar it was like ...... ahhhh, finally I can trash those strings. I'm really satisfied. I'm playing with a small guitar from MATON.
Pros-Great "EQ" of the strings without that harsh treble, lot of midrange in my humble opinion, great bass too. -Nice harmonic content, these strings have a lot of resonance. Hope it makes sense. - There's EC in the cover ! haha ! -Strings feels great in your hands
Cons- This strings don't last as long as the elixirs
