Best prices and best service in the industry
December 2, 2019
I'm all for supporting my local, retail music merchants. I can't help but do so; sometimes I need it (?) NOW. I live and work in the New Orleans, Louisiana area and play (work!) five to seven nights a week. Aside from using Savarez strings on my classical guitar, and experimenting with different Flatwounds on the Gibson ES 175D for the occasional Jazz gig, I have used GHS strings exclusively on Les Pauls, Strats, Teles, Ibanez S-bodies and other guitars, since the mid-1970s (yes, I am THAT old ... and experienced). The debate is OVER. I'll use Boomers, and Semi-flatwound Nickle GHS strings forever.
Now, let's talk about Strings and Beyond. Tell me: Where else can you purchase twelve sets of Boomers for $3.83 a set? Buy in bulk, boys. Buy enough to get the Free Shipping ... your strings, picks, capos, slides, straps, string lube (a necessity in my high humidity playing environments and it will DOUBLE the life of your strings).
Com' on, man! But none of this would mean a thing if you were doing business with the wrong, untrustworthy people. You can trust this company. They have never let me down. Best service, quick shipping, FREE SHIPPING (if you do it right), best prices ... I can't say enough good things about my relationship with Strings and Beyond. If you play hard, and play many nights each week, you are restringing and reworking the setup of your guitar(s) often. Constantly! You're going through new string sets quickly. It's YOUR art, your gig, your reputation, and your bank account paying for the upkeep of the tools of your trade. Strings and Beyond is your new best friend. And my old friend.
ProsEvery aspect of doing business with this company.
ConsThere are none.
