Item Description

Every set of Dunlop Acoustic Guitar Strings delivers a brilliant and rich tone for a dynamic and expressive acoustic experience. The finest wire combined with precise construction produce versatile strings durable enough to withstand hard strumming—and responsive enough for delicate fingerpicking. Chords ring out with great clarity, bass notes growl, and harmonics pop and sing.

Our formula creates strings that are exceptionally long-lived, they break-in fast and stay bright so you can spend more time playing and less time changing your strings. Warm and full bodied phosphor bronze.

Cheap string cheap price
Bought these strings trying to find a good cheap string. Got what I paid for. Sounded a little dead out of the package and lasted about a third of the way through the gig before they went further dead sounding.

Impressive strings!
I find these strings very similar to d'Addarios EJs. The tension feels nice, the tone is slightly more "round". Hard to describe but for 5$, they are well trying out. My favorite "low cost" uncoated PB strings.

great strings for the $$
Tried these a while ago and was really impressed. Great tone and feel, and they lasted quite a while under heavy playing. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Very nice strings
I tried a set of Dunlop PB 12s recently, and really enjoyed using these strings. They have a great feel and very nice tone. They're very well made strings, and the packaging is probably the best in the string industry. I'd definitely use these again.
ProsFeel Tone Last a long time Good value Excellent packaging

Wow!!!!!
I got a set of 12's for my Seagull S.W.S. dreadnaught and after a week I'm simply stunned at the beautiful tone of these strings. Not even taking into consideration the super low price of these..... they are just a top quality string. You can tell right out of the package by the way the ends are wound. Now, my S.W.S. projects mids really strongly and many PB's end up sounding almost nasally on this guitar. The Dunlop 12's are crisp with a FULL bottom end! Makes me wonder if they may sound a little muddy on other guitars, especially folk size and/or cherry body dreadnaughts? Anyway, they are just right for my Seagull. I'd say a close 2nd to Curt Mangan's!
Pros-Big bottom end and yet moderately crisp sounding -Manufacturing quality is better than many strings that cost twice as much -Fairly low tension yet not much fret buzzing

BEST 11s OUT THERE
I've played acoustic over 40 years - recently came across these strings , and can honestly say - they are the best sounding , and balanced 11s I've ever used and I've used at least 80 percent of all the strings out there . These are an absolute steal for the price. best sounding 11's I've ever played. Dunlop GOT IT RIGHT . They are LOUD for 11's also
ProsSmooth on the hands and low tension , beautiful sound

Dunlop acoustic 11-52's
These strings are great! I've just installed a set of 11's on a USA Ovation and discovered a resonance that I haven't heard with any other string. The low tension and the warm sound are absolutely made for the tight top of Ovation guitars. They are also really comfortable on the fingers. Due to the lower tension, bring them up to pitch without stretching and let them settle in for a day before forming any opinions. They become very balanced and pleasing.
