herco thumb pick

Fits like a clove on your finger, very pleased ,with the short length easy to pick, and also strum.
I thought at first a bit light and flimsy but hugs your thumb nicely and i have a large thumb,it is a bit small for me,but stays on.
I have been trying almost every pick out there ,but kind of fond of this one.
  • Short pick length easy to strum, and seems to hold to your thumb even my large thumb.
  • Would love to see a larger herco, other than that nothing bad at all.

best thumbpick anywhere

I've tried dozens of thumbpicks. They are all typically way to big or heavy or bulky, so cannot be moved deftly. Found these years ago in a now defunct music store -- haven't seen them in stores in 15 years or so. They have no markings, so when I lost my next to last one below the stage during a gig, I was a little anxious and worried. I did a Google search for "blue plastic thumbpick". Search took me straight to Strings and Beyond and these picks. I bought what I think will be a lifetime supply. If you play Buster B Jones/Jerry Reed style stuff, I cannot recommend this thumbpick highly enough. thanks Strings and Beyond !!!
  • lightweight -- slim profile -- moves easily between strings -- allows for all types of attack from soft and subtle to booming -- great fit and stays on really well
  • none -- except they were hard to find since no identification marks on them -- But how I know what they are and where to get them

I had a bad habit of catching a string on my thumb pick and snapping it up when playing. This pick corrected that. It is a very fast thumb pick.
  • Fast and affordable
  • stretches out a little

I know a few players that swear by these thumbpicks, but like another reviewer said they are a bit too small for me. Overall, not bad but not great either.

A little small even for a small hand

Bought a pack of six. Cant get used to them. I only have small hands but these are a bit too tight and hurt the thumbs.
  • too small
