Item Description

We love their strings. Great tone and long lasting! - Darius Rucker

D’Addario EJ Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings are D’Addario’s most popular choice for acoustic guitar. Buy a 10-pack of D’Addario EJ acoustic guitar strings at Strings and Beyond’s discount pricing and they’re an even greater bargain. With a 10-pack, you’ll have a fresh set of strings on hand when you need them.

D’Addario uses hexagonal core wires and precisely wraps them using computer-controlled manufacturing methods for incomparable consistency and clear intonation. D’Addario invented the phosphor bronze string in 1974 and these EJ strings are the current generation, offering a warm and balanced tone with bright intonation and a round-wound feel. Choose from sets in six different gauges to fit your style and bring out the best in your instrument.

For an even longer-lasting alternative, see the line of D’Addario EXP strings, which are coated to protect them from corrosion and retain that fresh sound even longer.

Eco Packaging

D'Addario has incorporated Corrosion Intercept Technology with their environmentally friendly packaging to insure your strings are green, and fresh for the pickin'!

The application of Corrosion Intercept Technology, developed by Lucent Technologies' Bell Labs, is the most significant development in string packaging since D'Addario pioneered the environmental string package in 1992. Each Corrosion Intercept bag employs a plastic which contains a gas-neutralizing barrier in the polymer matrix. This barrier reacts with and neutralizes gasses which cause materials to tarnish, guaranteeing that your D'Addario strings are as fresh and tarnish-free as the day we packaged them. Since Corrosion Intercept bags are both environmentally friendly and completely recyclable, they'll keep our planet untarnished as well.

Also, as a result of D'Addario's Player's Points Program, several tons of packaging redeemed for D'Addario gear gets systematically recycled every year.

All D'Addario packaging is either produced from recycled materials or is completely recyclable.

Excellent as the individual replacement strings for the price!
December 4, 2019
I always keep a full set of the D'Addario EJ26 strings in my player guitar bag as a spare set of strings because I often strum hard and break one of the lower strings. They are very handy to have around as the emergency replacement strings.
I usually buy 10 packs which last me a few months of active playing outdoors. They are also good as a gift to my other musician friends overseas ;-)
ProsUnlike most other brands, ALL six strings are wrapped in a single plastic bag preventing them from rust, and each string is color coded easily to identify.
ConsNone

Average strings but solid price in a bulk

Never liked D'Addario strings. Bigger tension, my hands sweat a lot and strings lose sound after one gig. But the price in a bulk was great till it was cca 47$. With 57$ it is still a good price concerning there is no competence, but if any other brand releases bulk I would be interested to try it.
Pros- cheap - ok sound on first setup - bulk
Cons- bigger tension - loses sound very fast, specially in lower strings
