my favorite ukulele strings
May 27, 2021
Worth CM are my favorite ukulele strings for fingerstyle playing. Very responsive and clear sound. Medium tension is easy on my fingers. 46 inch length is long enough to cut in half and use on 2 ukuleles (if you are not wasteful).
Pros
- 46 inch length can be cut in half and used on 2 ukuleles
Cons
- Strummers may prefer Worth BM strings for a more mellow sound

Good Strings

I like these strings, but like the Worth browns a little better. Be sure you have tuff fingers before you start playing these. They do sound good on my Martin C1K and I will more than likely buy them again.

Very nice, but...

I have already played on Worth browns, so I knew the quality of craftsmanship would be the same for the clears. However, I found that these were a bit too bright for my liking. Just my opinion. These are wonderful strings that have a lovely voice but not for what I play. Highly recommended nonetheless.
