Surprisingly Good

For $1 these picks are pretty great. I personally like the Thin ones the best - they're great for rhythm playing. My only complaint is that I wish S&B would offer packs with specific thicknesses vs the variety pack.
ProsSound amazing
ConsNeed to offer specific gauges to buy, not variety packs

Smooth and Creamy H

What can I say but a big well done for strings and things knowing their stuff.
This H red pick makes my playing feel smooth and creamy and makes me want to speed pick and legato left right and center.
ProsSmooth long lasting

Excellent Picks!

I was really surprised when I began playing my acoustics with these picks. I didn't expect them to produce the warm and rich sound that I was looking for. Like many of us who play guitar we have dozens of picks, in different gauges, shapes, and materials. These are now at the top of the list, the ones I grab first.

I will state what everyone else has been saying.... Strings and Beyond, you need to sell these picks per gauge not as a sampler pack!

Having said that, these are truly some of the most unique and toneful celluloid picks I've ever tried. My go to picks! try em and buy em, compare em to your favorite celluloid picks, these stand out.

Beautiful overtones, rich and harmonic, my favorites are the heavy gauge. Love your product! I bought 20 three packs because I wanted 20 heavy picks!

These are the best picks I've ever owned for strumming clarity.
They even beat the infamous Tusq tone shaped picks
ProsAwesome strumming clarity
ConsNo individual thickness packs

Nice picks

Came free with the strings that I purchased which is really nice.
The quality is good the shape and size are standard.
I don't use those regularly because I prefer Jazz type picks, but sometimes if I want something different I play with those too.

Great pick

Like many others these picks were included free with a string order. Randomly tried the red H heavy the other day and was very pleasantly impressed. I recently bought some Clayton picks and I like the S & B pick better for me. Its got a warmer, less pick noise, attack and the thickness is perfect. The only other pick that may beat it is the BlueChip and they are $35 for one pick, nuts! Im ordering more for sure.
ProsThickness of the heavy pick, tone, price.
ConsNot available in sets of one thickness, you have to get the variety pack. It?€™s a waste when all I want is more heavies.

Make a clean sound.

Heavy red came in my free assortment. I have been working on a piece for church and that pick smoothed and cleaned the sound. Remarkable. I ordered more immediately.

ProsThe sound. The price. Get some.

and using an unmeasurable amount of different picks both big name and boutique, the SNB branded picks are by far the very best I have ever used. Once again SNB delivers a top quality product at a great price !!
Prostremendous feel and articulation together with a warm tonal response & long durability and the perfect edge and shape.
Consabsolutely none

Got these as a throw-in with some more expensive ones, but I'll buy more of these first...

I pretty much stopped using celluloid picks a decade ago in favor of a variety of other materials, and then more recently I've been going thicker and thicker. These are making me rethink it. Great non-slippery feel, and they don't give me the idea they're going to chip with heavy use. Similar feel to Dunlop "The Wedge" but with a brighter tone.

Dude, they gave me a free Red Heavy pick with my order. Seriously, way better than this .60 Dunlop {max grip} I am using. Way easier for me to sweep.

Usually I don't use Celluloid Picks But...

These things really sound nice when I'm playing clean, helps bring out some dynamics & they don't break the same way a lot of celluloid picks do.

SAB was kind enough to include them with my order and I have to say I was surprised. I preferred them to most other celluloid picks, way better then MRW and fender picks I've used.
Prossolid feeling but not bulky, good speed/strumming. Overall good dynamic pick

Received them free with order thought they were just a couple of cheap picks compared about 20 different picks none can touch them.

Better than your average pick for sure
November 3, 2013
I got a sampler with my last order like a lot of the other reviews mentioned. After trying these, I realized that all celluloid picks are not the same. These have a better matte grip to them (not slippery) and a slightly warmer tone than a Fender branded version. A nice pick is one that provides both a nice feel as well as tone. These do both well. Definitely will get some more of these. Thanks Strings and Beyond.

I ordered some Wegen Picks and received a free one in the package and I like the S&B pick better than the Wegen. These S&B celluloid picks are good stuff.
