Sensibilit? au froid
November 27, 2018

Good Tuner

A good accurate tuner that does the job. A bit more bulky than is really necessary but works well.

gets the job done!

as far as affordable accurate tuners go, the snarks are pretty hard to beat. they are well lit, accurate and stay put. the ball joint between the display and clamp can bit a little weak, so use two hands when adjusting it to make sure you don't break it.
  • price, accuracy
  • display/calmp joint can be a bit weak.

Well designed small and precise
November 15, 2015
I was looking for a good tuner that would be small and not too expensive. I read many reviews and came to the conclusion that this is a very good product that offers precision and comfort with a small size.
It doesn't need volume for tuning, only vibration and it is very convenient to place it on the neck of your instrument.
For the price i think it does the job and it is definitely not lagging behind other more pricey tuners.
The tuner is more suitable for guitarist for it has some tuning options when using capo.
Overall i think this is a good product for the price. The only drawback is that it consumes a lot of battery life because of the display, so if you are using a tuner frequently, take into account that you will need many replacement batteries (but the batteries are very cheap on E-bay so not a big problem)
  • Bright display, many functions for guitar tuning, easy to use.
  • consumes a lot of battery.

First off - there's nothing wrong with the PW tuner. I just find the display to be a little small, and they are pretty hard on batteries. Love the big display and the fact that you can rotate the screen to suit your needs, makes it a lot more flexible especially on smaller headstocks.
  • Big display
  • Rotatable unit

Excellent clip-on tuner
October 21, 2014
I've tried other clip-on tuners and I find this one to be the best.
I love the display and, of course, the ease of tuning.
  • Accurate.

The Snark of the tuner world.
February 18, 2014
This is a great tuner. It is so easy to use and very accurate. This is the first clip on tuner I have ever used and I have to say, I'm impressed. This is my go to tuner for all of my guitars, banjos and ukulele. It works perfectly on all of them. It is also very easy to read. If you are looking for an affordable but accurate tuner then look no further.
  • Very affordable.
  • Accurate on many insturments
  • Easy to read.
  • Too large to use during a gig.

Snark SN-1 Clip-on chromatic guitar tuner
January 8, 2013
An unbelievably good bang for the buck. Great accuracy and, most important to me, virtually no " drift ". I bought this AND a Korg pitchclip together because they were so cheap, just to compare. The Korg constantly drifts in and out and the Snark is rock solid. I got rid of a Peterson bench tuner after my Snark experience. WAY worth it !
  • Cheap. Accurate. No pitch drift.
  • Nothing.

Pretty accurate. Hard to see in bright sunlight.
July 27, 2012
This is a great little tuner that I've had for a couple months. It seems to be pretty accurate compared to a Korg Chromatic tuner I have. The tuner is pretty much impossible to see outside in bright sun. If you gig outside a lot you might want to look at the black Snark tuner which supposedly has a brighter screen.
  • Accurate.
  • Small,
  • Fits tightly on headstock
  • Hard to see outside.

Snark SN-1
December 15, 2011
This is one cool little item. It is accurate, easy to read and dead simple to use.

I am buying another one for a spare.

True, it is a bit visible (very blue) but I don't care one bit about that.

Sturdy construction. Works well. Excellent for younger players because of the ease of use and lack of settings. Turn it on, turn it off. Maybe too visible for the pro, being bright blue and quite large, but on the plus side it's easy to read. Overall a good choice at a great price.
