Great strings as usual - not a huge difference in tone
May 30, 2020
Really like these strings for the feel and tuning stability. I purchased them hoping they would offer a more noticeable tonal difference due to the core being a different material.

To be honest I can hear a small increase in lows but very little else. I am a huge fan of Rotosound strings in general and really love the feel and play-ability of every type I have tried. This one is no exception.

Excellent strings...worth a try if you a bit of extra cash. But I don't know if they're worth buying all the time as the Rotosound Roto's sound every bit as good and are much cheaper.
  • Excellent quality and price for the type of strings you are getting.
  • Sound amazing as is usual for Rotosound strings.
  • Great play-ability
  • Last considerably longer than most brands I have tried (been playing for over 30 years...I've tried most strings)
  • Excellent tuning stability.
  • Not really a con...but they do not have a huge tonal difference to the normal Roto strings that are much less expensive.
  • If they weren't almost double the price, I would buy them again. But again, just because they are good strings. Not because of massive tonal changes.
