great on my Warwick Rock Bass Corvette Medium Scale
I wanted a deeper sound from my medium scale bass. Something with a growl like a Rick 4001. So far, this is the closest thing to it on a much less expensive bass for someone who doesn't have long fingers.
I bought the medium scale version of these here at Strings and Beyond which I had to special order which was so easy!
They sound simply awesome.

These strings have added an extra edge to my Hofner Icon Bass. Next to the Icon; these were the best investment that I made! Great feel and gives you that Beatle feel!

Rotosound RS88LD
These strings have an absolutely beautiful dark, mellow sound. They sound great on my acoustic bass and allow my fingers to glide across the strings, considering they are nylon flatwounds. The strings can be most famously heard on "Come Together" by The Beatles, for which I believe Paul McCartney used a fretted Rickenbacker 4001. I would recommend these strings to anyone who wants to reduce fret noise and create a somber tone to their music. Plus, these strings a black, which provides an aesthetically pleasing alternative to the shining stainless steel on most other strings.
