Rickenbacker 1990 5 String Bass 4003S/5
This item has been sold. This is a MapleGlo Rickenbacker 4003S/5 5 string bass in LIKE NEW condition. No scratches, no dings--absolutely beautiful. All electronics and mechanicals are in perfect working order. And as you can see from the pictures, this bass is wonderful The 4003S/5 basses were discontinued at the beginning of 2002, and are hard to find. It has the signature Rick sound (punch!), with the added B string for additional versatility. This 5-string bass is derived from the popular historical model 4001S. With flowing body contours and a simple dot inlay fretboard, the 4003S/5 gives an extended total range by the addition of a low 'B' string. An extra keywind is cleverly incorporated into the subtly extended headstock, still maintaining the appearance of this instantly recognizable 4000 series feature.
