Not bad for a budget string

I find these are a great alternative. Obviously they will go dead a little quicker, than other brands. Though you can't complain, they are half the price!
If I had to compare, I would say they are very similar to Dean Markley strings. Depending on what your opinion on them is. They work well, I have used about 6 sets so far, and the quality is 100% the same...They typically last me about 2 months. I usually use D'Addario, and I've killed those in 3 months...sometimes i can squeeze 4 months out of them.
I really like Darco's. I was hesitant at first due to the price, however I was being biased. If you have really sweaty hands and kill strings fast, buy these strings. Or if you are selling a guitar, and need to slap a fresh set on, these are a great solution.
Also if you have multiple guitars, and use different gauges like I do, these are easier on the wallet.
At this price it's definitely affordable. Strings and Beyond is hands down the best place! I have never seen them at my local shops.
