Really good pick
It's a good pick and has a decent amount of grip, I still am looking for a perfect fit for me but I do continue to go back to these.
ProsGood grip, good range of sizes
ConsI prefer a rough texture on the top side of the pick and these just don't have that. They do claim to have good grip and it's decent.

The in-between pick
What's it in between? On the smooth side you'd have the celluloids and tortex. And on the really grippy side there's the max-grip and the insanely rough max-grip jazz iii. So for people who dont like either, the gator is a good in between. I still prefer the max-grip jazz iii when i am playing in air conditioned settings though!

I love these picks
Great grip and long durability. I use the 0.96 mm for jazz. Nice to get them sent to my door by SAB

Good grip, flexible picks.
This picks have a better grip than the Tortex, and are more flexible. The downside is that they last less, and after a while the texture gets polished and loses its grip.
ProsGood grip Flexible
ConsLoses grip after a while Not too durable

used these for years
I've been using the 1.5mm ones since 2006 or so. These last months if not years assuming you don't lose them and depending on how serious you are. Since they are such thick picks you get this extra bit of volume and no floppiness or that annoying click to distract you from playing. I use these for leads, soloing and rhythm on darker sounding guitars. They get rid of a bit of the highs and there is a bit of compression but that is what the dunlop aluminum picks or steel strings or dare I say the john petrucci set is for (im not a dream theater fan).

I've been recommending these to other guitarists for years. Some have switched to them. Others joke and call the green gators rocks. But we're not talking 100$ or 1000$ territory, check them out.
Proslong lasting more control (the thicker ones) more volume (the thicker ones)

Gator 2mm flat pick
If you chamfer about 5% off and shape to a heart, you will have the immaculate pick. (Remember it must be.2mm grey)
Now I have let the cat out of the bag.

Great range of thicknesses and awesome shape and contour. The edges on these are a lot more rounded than the tortex or nylon picks, which makes them a lot smoother for fast picking.

perfect pick
Theses are the perfect flat pick for me. I have been using them for years and they have the perfect amount of grip. I use the .71mm for a good all around pick. I will never use anything else when it comes to flat picking.
Prosgood grip

these are really great picks. i used to think that picks were pretty much the same. but after letting fender celluloids slip out of my grasp for the n-th time, i decided to experiment with these and some tortex. both are good, but the gators are the best. great texture, impossible to drop, and i can't seem to wear them out. 2.0 for metallica!
