Nice Warm Smooth Tone
I have a very early Taylor 810 that has a HUGE presence, tried almost everything, and had settled on Phosphor Bronze, and still was getting complaints from jammers that the guitar was too much. I tried the Vintage Bronze strings and was really pleased by the much more tasteful sound that my Taylor produced, they work well on my other guitars as well, producing a smooth warm tone that has excellent sustain and volume without being overwhelming. I play or practice daily, under this relatively heavy use they last at least a week if you wash your hands first and wipe down the strings before putting the guitar away. I love the sound and playability, they are not too expensive either.
ProsWarm vintage sound, smooth and open. easy to play.
ConsIf you don't keep your hands clean and don't wipe down the strings when you put the guitar away, they are good only for 3-4 days.

Cheap
Decent string for the price. (on sale $4.95) Went dead halfway through the gig. I gave them 2 stars because they retail for $8.95.
ProsCheap (when on sale)
ConsGet what you pay for (wouldn't pay full price)
