My favorite strings for electric
May 10, 2021
These sound and feel better than nickel plated strings. Over the years, I've tried regular D'Addarios, Ernie Balls, Dean Markleys, and others. These are definitely my favorite, with regular D'Addarios coming in second.

Very durable and sound great

I choose Fender strings for Fender guitars. And I choose pure nickel for single coil pickups because they sound smoother and twangy on my Baja Tele. And these strings are made by D'Addario using Fender specs. Two great companies collaborating together is a home run for most players!
Pros
  • Durable
  • Pricing is really nice
  • Tone
  • Colored ball ends
Cons
  • None

Great & Affordable

These are great strings (especially for a Strat or Tele), and at about $5 a pop, you won't regret trying 'em out.

Great Strings!

I really like these strings on my best 6 string electric guitars. They have a soft feel to them mostly because of the pure nickel wound strings and Fender have been selling them for years. You can't beat the awesome prices at Strings & Beyond.
