Item Description

America's #1 acoustic guitar string, Elixir Strings, provide playability and long lasting tone that top artists worldwide depend upon! These Elixir Strings capture the sweet spot of that unique phosphor bronze tone.

Every time you play your guitar, tiny bits of you are left to invade the windings to contaminate your strings and kill your tone. Elixir Strings are the only strings that keep dirt out of the windings by coating the entire string. Our ultra-thin NANOWEB Coating provides a bright, lively tone that players tell us lasts longer than any other string, uncoated or coated. This means you buy fewer sets of strings, change them less often and trust your guitar is ready to go whenever you are.

Elixir NanoWeb Acoustic Guitar Strings Light
012 016 024w 032w 042w 053w More and more guitarists are choosing Elixir coated guitar strings. The NanoWeb coating feels like traditional uncoated strings and produces the bright tones and punch of uncoated strings. Elixir strings retain their bright tone 3 to 5 times longer than normal strings. The coating protects the winding from the elements that can make your strings go dead so you don't have to replace your strings as often as uncoated strings.

Keep coming back
I used to use nothing but Dean Markley but I was introduced to these about ten years ago. For budget reasons I have bought others but i keep coming back to Elixir strings. They just sound great for a long time and they stay in tune. They sound great on all my guitars, from my Martin Sygma I have had since 1994 to my 2005 Taylor I got just 5 years ago.
ProsLong lasting, settles in fast, and stays in tune.
ConsI wish they were a little less expensive but I can't complain.

The claims they make are true.
They have a nice consistent tone across all 6 strings. And they last longer just like they claim.
ProsI've played many different stings over 34 years. I like this the best. They are consistent across all six strings with their tone. And they last like they said they would. Plus they have a really nice feel.
ConsA little more money but they last.
