A unique combination of crisp highs, aggressive mids, and a focused low end gives Dunlop Electric Guitar Strings a voice all their own. The Dunlop recipe for string-to-string balance and responsiveness produces string sets that are perfect for dynamic lead work, while notes in a chord ring out clearly whether clean or heavily distorted.
This powerful voice is delivered in a low tension string with a smooth tactile feel that breaks in fast and lasts a long time.

Good cheap strings
These strings are good and cheap. I prefer the Dunlop Reverened Willy's over these but if you want to save money and have decent strings, try these out.

Best strings I've ever tried
I've been buying all of my strings from this site for years. I almost always buy in bulk and make my selection based on the best deal. In the past I've mostly bought D'Addario, and when they had them Vostok. I go through at least a set a week. I tried these because of the price, and I started buying in bulk and using them all the time. I didn't realize how great they were until I tried a few sets of my old mainstay brands (EB, GHS, and D'addario) here and there. I was shocked at how fast the other brands wore out and how dead they sounded after a week compared to the cheap Dunlops I'd been using. I guess I never knew I had it so good. I had been using them on all my guitars and now especially will continue to do so.
ProsLong life, great full tone. Very balanced sounding. Not overly bright like Daddarios and not dull like Dean Markleys.
Consnone.

hard to beat...
I was looking for some "cheap" strings that would work in a pinch...I've got too many guitars to switch out strings all the time...these were a surprise...much better quality than I expected...tone was good and they held up well...and at this price, no way I could complain...in fact, I could gig with these all the time and afford to change strings...

Best Deal Out There!
I tried the Dunlop 10-46 3 Packs out because of the price. I go through about 3 packs a week as I like the tone of new strings. These strings sound great, they don't break often (unless you need your saddles filed) and intonation is fine.
ProsThe price & The Sound. Try them!

Vary smooth and silky..
great value and wasn't sure if I'd like them, but I gave it a try and now I'm hooked on them. takes little time to stretch them in. I wish they made these strings 15 years ago..

still going strong
Loved the heavycores so much I decided to try out everything else. These I'm very impressed with I used to use the blue packs of D'Addario for 5-10 years but I may have switched for good.
Prosthe price the consistency the big names who plays them the tone

Smooth and articulate
What amazed me was how smooth these strings are. The windings are tight and precise and have almost a silky feel to them. The string to string balance is remarkable. Combined with even my most finicky guitar that will sound awful with the wrong strings on it, these were the "right" strings to put on that one. My other instruments perform great with these Dunlop Nickel Plated strings. Great response from them and they stay in tune very well. Even after long sessions of playing with bends galore, they remain in perfect tune. Wonderful stings that I will now use for nearly all my guitars.
ProsSmooth feel Consistent balance string to string Makes even my worst guitar sound good Remain in tune even after hours of playing Rich tone that sound like pure nickel
ConsThere is no downside here.

Dunlop Medium 10 - 46
Tried them on my Les Paul and paired with a MXR '78 Custom Badass, you can get Rev Willy G's tone. Great feel with fantastic pinch harmonics. Highly recommended.
