VERY hard to install
These strings feel solid and well made, but are for some reason very hard to install. They are very rigid and tend to constantly spring from the pegs when winding them. It took me over an hour to fight them onto my instrument and my hands hurt like heck afterwards. Taking a star off for this alone. The sound is warm like the description, but a bit quiet and muted. They might make good practice strings or if you just want a different look on your uke. If you're looking for something louder, eg. for gigs and performing, these might not be the best choice.
Pros- Well made - Warm and mellow sound - Look cool
Cons- Hard to install - A bit quiet - Black doesn't actually pair that well with an average wood colored ukulele
