D’Addario ECB82 Chromes Warm/Mellow Flat Wound strings for electric bass guitar provide the low-end punch needed for today’s R&B, jazz or rock. These D’Addario strings start with a hexagonal core wire with a high carbon steel content and then they are wrapped with a flat “ribbon” wire to get them a smooth and polished feel and a warm, mellow tone.
