Finally. Just right for acoustic archtop.

Prior to finding this pick (and the Nitra version) I was leaning towards standard shape picks to point I was modifying picks of various materials to reduce pick noise. Apparently, it is the material. I tried the standard version of the Acrylux as well as the Jazz version and, though both performed well for my purposes, I surprisingly, found the Jazz shape more to my liking. I get a warm, smooth response playing rhythm or single note to the point where I now find using other picks distracting. I have a box with at least 200 various picks that I no longer use. I keep them for company ;-)

After being a solid jazz 3 Dunlop guy for some time now im always on the look for a new choice of "3" styled pick and I think that d'adario has something here...I have tried some acrylic styled pick that just didn't bond or sound right...to much clicky or feel right...These feel right and there is no noise with the use...both are descent priced acylic's...still like my Dunlop but these are a nice change...way2go big D'dario.
Pros
  • no noise.
  • cheaper than other's.
Cons
  • not much.
