Nice tone, nice picks
Both celluloid and neo tortoise Snark picks sport a cool gimmicky package, and a gimmicky pick file. The added variety also lies in 6 different grip prints (for both types of materials). I'm now settled on 1.07 neo tortoise and 1.0 celluloid for my bass playing needs. The tone difference is very subtle between the two types - neo tortoise is slightly fatter and warmer than celluloid, but I hear more difference between Snark picks and say Dunlop tortex (which are brighter, more attack, less fundamental). For the guitar though, the difference was more apparent - these are brighter (and thinner sounding) than neo tortoise and were the perfect choice for my guitarist. For the price, tone and comfort, both Snark picks (celluloid and neo tortoise) are perfectly fine choice for my bass playing needs.
Prosgreat tone, variety of looks, price, comfort
Consthey seem to wear down a bit faster than Dunlop tortex, the slip grip sticker wears down as well - both minute complaints, as they still last a good amount and you're more likely to lose a pick than wear it down completely
