thick clunky strings
First thing I hate about these strings is that they are very not flexible. Putting them on and twisting was a nightmare.
Playing them isn't easy because you need a lot of pressure due to the mass of the string. The trebles are kind of sticky and sound dull.
Bases are neat-copper looking, but inconsistent. They sound plain and worse than silver wound strings.
These strings are really hard to cut through. They seem to stretch instead of cut.
Aside from the neat bass color, I don't see the appeal of these at all.
Not sure who likes thick strings dull strings without sustain.
I don't recommend at all...

These strings have a rich mid range and bright trebles. The bass is not as rich but acceptable. They have a sticky feel but not enough to hamper performance. The real drawback is that they look like worn strings showing a mix of copper and silver.I have the normal tension ones.I suppose the high tension set would improve the bass response. The best part have no string talk.
