Very defined sound
They sound great, each note has brilliant definition. Wound G string lasts much longer than other sets, ie frets don't wear the windings off.
ProsSound good, play well. Each note is defined well when appreciating
ConsSound really thin when you first put them on, need 2-3 days to truly sound good. But once they are set it's great.

Newtone Burns Specials Pure Nickel
Excellent strings! I've put these on 2 guitars so far (a hollowbody Guild T-100 & a Les Paul) and they are the perfect balance between bright & mellow.

Tension is perfect for me in the 11s w/ wound G, great feeling, very low squeak and they last a long time.

These are my new go-to electric string! Long live pure nickel!!

Superior quality. I use these on my Grosch Electrajet Custom through a Music Man HD-150 head (1982) and a Fender Bassman cabinet (1967). Clear, precise tone. They feel strong to the touch but not overly tense.
