Gibson Vintage Reissue Strings
August 2, 2013
Normally when I get a new guitar the first thing I do is play it for a bit then re-string it with my favorite strings. This usually makes things perfect and all good. Well I couldn't put down my new '59 reissue Les Paul. The stock string on the guitar were heavenly. Great tone, low tension and they stayed in tune. After contacting the good folks at Gibson, I I learned that they are putting Vintage Reissue strings on all their custom shop guitars. What an excellent choice.
Try these strings out. Pure nickel wrapped on a Swedish steel hex core. Made like in the old days. Be good to your hands try a set of Gibson Vintage Reissue strings.
- They feel great, sound vintage, and they're low tension strings so you can bend, pull and slide all over the neck on each of the strings. Pure nickel strings.
- Haven't found anything I dislike about these strings. I keep trying but each time I pick up my guitar it plays like butter.
