The LR Baggs ANTHEM Tru Mic Acoustic Microphone / Pickup System uses a proprietary noise canceling mic that eradicates boxy or shallow characteristics giving you plenty of sound, accentuating the natural dynamics of your guitar. Due to the mic’s close positioning to the top of the guitar (3 millimeters), gain is maximized before you get any feedback. With the mic easily mounted to the bridge plate and picking up vibrations from the entire soundboard, mic placement issues become a thing of the past.
By eliminating feedback, the sound quality of your guitar is primarily coming from the Anthem Tru Mic (which is the opposite of most mic/pickup systems), picking up the unique color and tonation of your guitar with only the lowest frequencies being captured by the Element under saddle pickup!
With a multi-segment battery check, volume, mix and phase controls all housed in the feather-weight control unit tucked securely inside of the soundhole for fingertip access, you can adjust the mix between the augmented mic and pickup on the fly.
