Dean Markley Blue Steel Electric Guitar Strings offer a responsive, brilliant tone, with powerful punch. This string has 8%nickel plated steel wrap wire on a tinned mandolin wire hexcore.

All Blue Steel strings are Cryogenically frozen down to -320ºF, which tightens the molecules, minimizing microscopic gaps in the string. This process removes transient frequencies that produce harsh highs and muddy lows, creating a more consistent string, with true tone and longer life.
